In the pharmaceutical industry, it is used to prepare effervescent tablets, neutralize gastric acid drugs, solubilize insoluble acidic drugs, and be added to detergents as a foaming agent.
Chemical properties:
This product is a white powder with good fluidity and is not easy to absorb moisture. It will not turn yellow for several days below 110℃. It is easily soluble in water. The aqueous solution is alkaline. It decomposes quickly when exposed to acid and releases carbon dioxide. It is almost insoluble in alcohol and ether.
